June 28, 2006

iAfrica.com is reporting that controversial rocker Marilyn Manson was in Disneyland in Anaheim, California Saturday (June 24) attending the world premiere of Johnny Depp's new film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" that doubled as the re-opening of the ride on which the "Pirates" films are based.

"I'm here to support Johnny, he's my friend," a lather-clad Manson told MTV. [Check out pictures from the film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" premiere at Wire Image.]

"And sometimes he likes to attend without his woman, so tonight I am his he-[woman]," he added, grinning.

"Normally, when I come to Disneyland, I'm on drugs. I'm not saying I'm not on drugs now, but this is a different experience."

Manson was but one of many friends out in support of Depp, who made his appearance some five hours after the event began.
